And now, you loud-mouthed, thick-skinned, empty-headed Volga Boatman–

Tony Stark’s testimony to Congress is delayed yet again when Titanium Man attacks.
We get an all-out battle between the armored foes.

I often complain about heroes over-hyping lame villain powers. We get the opposite here. There’s a lot of cool things about Iron Man’s armor, but to hear both Iron Man and Titanium Man talk, you would think the most impressive thing was the built-in rollerskates.

Iron Man gets in a good insult.
Pepper and Happy witness the fight. Titanium Man deduces Pepper means something to Iron Man and takes her hostage.

40 issues since her debut, Pepper actually hasn’t been taken hostage by villains all that often, especially when compared to Jane Foster.
The decompressed storytelling style continues. Last issue took a whole issue to get to the fight, and this issue is just the fight, which will continue next issue.
